Posted on 03/03/2010 in Animal Health Supplier News Idexx Laboratories has appointed the experienced executive Joseph Vumbacco as the newest member of its board of directors.
Mr Vumbacco takes up this new role at the animal health company following a career which has seen him occupy key positions at firms such as construction company Turner and brewery F&M Schaefer.
Most recently, he served as chief executive officer of hospital operator Health Management Associates (HMA), retiring from the role in July 2007.
Jonathan Ayers, chairman and chief executive officer of Idexx Laboratories, stated that this track record will make Mr Vumbacco a valuable addition to the company.
He said: "Joe brings a wealth of executive leadership experience to our board, including experience managing HMA during a period of significant and sustained revenue growth."
In January, the company published its financial report for 2009, during which the animal health firm saw its revenue increase by one per cent on its 2008 level.Other news stories from 03/03/2010
