Posted on 26/02/2010 in Scientific Eppendorf has attended a recent press day in Cambridge to showcase some of its new advances in pipette technology.
The science company was present at the event at Clare College in order to demonstrate its Eppendorf Research plus device, which is designed to offer ergonomic benefits to users in the laboratory science sector.
Geoff Simmons, Eppendorf's UK marketing manager, stated that the lightweight nature of the pipette, combined with its low aspirations and tip ejection force, help to mitigate the risk of repetitive strain injury.
He added: "Every detail of the Research plus has been designed to provide outstanding ease of use ? Our commitment to the user keeps us at the forefront of ergonomic design."
The firm also offered a preview of the electronic Eppendorf Xplorer pipette at the event ahead of its full debut next month.
