Posted on 15/02/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Bedfont Scientific has received an endorsement from a leading expert for its Gastrolyzer breath hydrogen monitor device.
Royal Society of Medicine member and author Dr Donald Bentley has described the non-invasive device as "an incredible piece of apparatus" which compares favourably to any other piece of medical equipment he has encountered.
The unit, which is used in the detection of gastrointestinal disorders such as lactose and fructose intolerance, was particularly praised for its durability.
Dr Bentley stated: "It never fails, apart from the rare need for a new battery. I wish other medical equipment was so robust and dependable."
This recommendation follows an earlier endorsement provided by Dr Bentley's book Paediatric Gastroenterology and Clinical Nutrition, in which he praised the handhled unit for its user-friendliness.
Earlier this month, Bedfont Scientific won further industry recognition for its Smokerlyzer CO monitor range, becoming the recipient of the Arab Health award for innovation.Other news stories from 15/02/2010
