Posted on 10/02/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Lundbeck this week announced that it has appointed a new vice-president of investor relations (IR) and communications.
Jacob Tolstrup, who is the youngest vice-president at the company, will assume overall responsibility for IR and for the last decade has contributed to the success of Lundbeck's business activities.
He currently heads a staff of 12 and reports to the company's executive vice-president of finance, Anders Gotzsche.
Mr Gotzsche explained that both internal and external communications are "vital" to Lundbeck's operations.
"Jacob has made his mark on Lundbeck's IR and corporate communications for many years. We have established close, regular dialogue with key stakeholders, including investors, analysts and the press," he continued.
In other Lundbeck news, the firm announced another appointment last month - that of Peter Vekslund as its new vice-president of group finance.
Mr Vekslund, who joined Lundbeck in 2005, has operated its financial workflows for the past four years and also launched the organisation's first financial management development programme.Other news stories from 10/02/2010
