Posted on 10/02/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Product News Norgine has announced its financial results for the whole of 2009, which show that the firm's total revenues rose to 258 million euros (226.5 million pounds).
Additionally, the company's net product sales increased by 9.1 per cent to 254 million euros during the 12-month timeframe.
This represents the 23rd consecutive year of double-digit growth at constant exchange rates.
Peter Stein, chief executive officer of Norgine, said: "In today's difficult economic climate, our continued investment in development programmes and in improving our business skills, quality and compliance to the highest industry standards has yet again paid dividends."
He added that the organisation will continue to invest in its programmes, products and employees over the coming year in order to encourage business growth.
Meanwhile, in December 2009, Norgine announced that it had been awarded the judges' prize at the MediWales Innovation Awards, which are held to recognise the best performers in the Welsh healthcare sector.Other news stories from 10/02/2010
