Posted on 08/02/2010 in Marketing Services Porter Novelli has said goodbye to social media planner Tim Hoang, who is taking up a new role with Cohn & Wolfe.
According to PR Week, Mr Hoang has been appointed as a senior consultant at the agency and will join in mid-February.
At the age of 26, Mr Hoang was profiled as part of last year's PR Week 29 Under 29 list, which names the rising stars of the industry.
Known for his extensive knowledge of social media communications and a willingness to innovate, he was described by Porter Novelli's managing director Jean Wyllie as a valued member of the team.
She told the publication: "In all stages of his career so far, Tim has taken the applications of digital media to PR in new, exciting directions."
Mr Hoang has also served as a member of the Public Relations Consultants Association digital group, which aims to promote best practice across the PR industry in terms of digital media.
