Posted on 08/02/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures ALK-Abello revealed this week that it has recruited a new director of group communications.
Martin Barlebo takes up his role from this month onwards and holds an MA in political sciences, which he acquired from the University of Copenhagen in Denmark.
His communication experience has been honed with roles at firms such as Holm Kommunikation A/S, where he has been working for the last ten years with strategic communication, public affairs and crisis management.
He will take responsibility for ALK-Abello's external and internal communications and public affairs operations as the company strives to focus on researching and developing treatments for allergies.
ALK-Abello, which currently employs around 1,500 people, announced last year that it had initiated a major study into childhood asthma.
The Grazax Asthma Prevention trial is the largest-ever study into the preventive effects of the condition among five to 12-year-old children who also suffer from allergic grass pollen rhinoconjunctivitis, or hay fever.Other news stories from 08/02/2010
