Posted on 03/02/2010 in Scientific R-Biopharm AG, R-Biopharm Rhone's parent company, has announced that its Vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), Folic acid and Pantothenic acid VitaFast tests have received certification from the AOAC Research Institute (RI).
The ready-to-use kits, which can speed up analysis by up to 80 per cent compared with traditional techniques, achieved Performance Tested Method Status for providing accurate and reliable results, as well as meeting AOAC-RI standards.
During the examination of the products, they were tested on a wide range of foods, such as meats, cereals and sweets.
R-Biopharm claims they are also suitable for use with pharmaceutical products and animal feed.
Referring to the international recognition that AOAC-RI has received for its rigorous testing procedures, the company stated: "This certificate serves to confirm the excellent performance of the products tested."
R-Biopharm Rhone, which was founded in 1988, opened a new branch at the West of Scotland Science Park, Glasgow during the final quarter of 2009.Other news stories from 03/02/2010
