| Ecolab enters into licensing agreement with C Change Surgical | Posted on 02/02/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Ecolab has revealed that it signed a contract with C Change Surgical, which will see the former firm access the licensing needed to produce body temperature-moderating equipment.
Under the terms of the agreement, Ecolab will access exclusive rights to a portfolio of patents related to surgical fluid warming technology.
It will then utilise these to develop and market associated products for the healthcare market.
C Change Surgical LLC's technology can be used in the majority of surgical procedures, as well as robotic and minimally invasive operations.
Paul Chaffin, a vice-president at Ecolab, stated: "This technology, which accurately manages the temperature of sterile surgical fluid, will enhance our patient warming product offerings and help physicians improve patient care."
