Posted on 02/02/2010 in Dental Supplier News Henry Schein, a provider of dental products, has revealed that a new member has been elected to its board of directors.
Bradley Sheares is a former employee of Reliant Pharmaceuticals and previously held the post of president of human health at Merck, Sharpe and Dohme.
He was with the firm for a total of 19 years and occupied the president post from March 2001 until July 2006.
Mr Sheares also serves as a director of the diversified technology and manufacturing company Honeywell International, as well as for the Progressive Corporation, IMS Health and drug development organisation Covance.
Stanley Bergman, chairman and chief executive officer for Henry Schein, said that the professional's insights will "figure prominently as we position our company to take full advantage of new market opportunities and support our customers in the efficient and effective delivery of care to patients".
