Posted on 01/02/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Cephalon revealed this week that it has promoted three of its executives.
Kevin Buchi, who joined Cephalon in 1991, has been instated as the firm's new chief operating officer and will assume responsibility for worldwide technical operations.
He previously held the post of chief financial officer, which he gained in 1996.
Wilco Groenhuysen has been promoted to executive vice-president chief financial officer with responsibility for worldwide finance, commercial operations and risk management and will report directly to chairman and chief executive officer Frank Baldino.
Additionally, Alain Aragues has been elevated to European vice-president and president of Cephalon Europe, after joining the company in 2002 following its acquisition of Group Lafon.
"I am confident that these leadership changes will bring the company's performance to a new level as we expand globally," Mr Baldino commented.
In December, Cephalon revealed that the Food and Drug Administration extended the action date for the review of its supplemental new drug application for NUVIGIL (armodafinil) tablets.Other news stories from 01/02/2010
