Posted on 29/01/2010 in Scientific Anachem has offered its client base reassurance that they can still purchase its most popular items, following the news that the firm will be acquired by Mettler Toledo.
The organisation will continue to operate in the scientific products market under its current name, while its chromatography, automation and instruments service businesses have been formed into a separate company, entitled Anachem Instruments.
Furthermore, although Anachem will no longer be the authorised distributor of Gilson manual liquid handling products in the UK and Ireland, it will still stock a comprehensive range of Gilson pipettes, it assured.
"In addition Anachem continues to provide pipette servicing for all manufacturers' pipettes, including Gilson. All pipette spares used in our service organisation remain genuine, original manufacturers parts," the company stated.
Anachem was founded in 1970 and launched Gilson PIPETMAN, the world's first adjustable pipette, in 1972. It is set to celebrate its 40th anniversary this year. Other news stories from 29/01/2010
