Posted on 28/01/2010 in Pharmacy Supplier News Bedfont Scientific has pointed out that one of its products has been featured in a series currently being shown on UK TV.
The Bedfont Micro+ CO Monitor and Lunglife, a lung age monitor, have made an appearance on the Channel Five production Celebrity Quitters.
Following five celebrities as they attempt to fight their addictions to smoking, the show utilised the Micro+ CO monitor to measure the individuals' carbon monoxide (CO) levels.
Meanwhile, Lunglife demonstrated to the participants "the reality of how much damage they have already caused to their lungs from smoking", the company stated.
Using this equipment to keep track of their efforts is helping to "motivate, educate and validate their progress," it continued.
Some of the high-profile names taking part include Birds of a Feather actress Linda Robson, celebrity chef John Burton Race and medium Derek Acorah.
