Posted on 21/01/2010 in Medical Company Restructures Oxford Immunotec has announced the details of two new appointments within the company.
Dr Peter Clemm, who is the current president and chief executive officer of Predictive Biosciences, has been inaugurated as the firm's non-executive director.
Additionally, the organisation's new vice-president of sales and marketing was revealed to be Frank Vandeputte.
Mr Clemm previously occupied the role of chief executive officer at both GeneOhm Sciences and JOMED.
His new colleague, Mr Vandeputte, formerly worked as the vice-president of CryoCath Technologies, where he headed up the organisation's European business operations.
"Oxford Immunotec is a rapidly emerging diagnostics company with a talented management team and very interesting product and pipeline. I look forward to working with the management and the board," explained Mr Clemm.
The company, which was founded in 2002, is based in Abingdon and the first product it released on to the market was the T-SPOT TB test - a cellular blood test for the detection of tuberculosis infection. Other news stories from 21/01/2010
