Posted on 21/01/2010 in Animal Health Supplier News Royal Canin has unveiled its latest offering to the animal health market - the Exigent range of foods for felines.
Overall, there are three variations available in the range - Aromatic Attraction, Savour Sensation or Protein Preference - and with the firm's new trial pack, pet owners can test each kind on their cats before committing to the purchase of a larger bag.
"Based on the latest research in palatability, they respond to each cat's individual preference. Each product has a specific and original sensorial orientation while respecting all palatability criteria," the product's microsite explained.
Trial packs will be available in UK stores from early 2010 for the price of £1.99 and include six days' worth of food.
On each pack, there is a code that enables consumers to go online and receive a 400g bag of the new product.
In October, Marks and Spencer announced that it was offering Royal Canin pet food to the lucky winners of a prize draw it launched for those buying its pet insurance policies. Other news stories from 21/01/2010
