Posted on 20/01/2010 in Dental Supplier News Ivoclar Vivadent has announced the release of two new products for professionals in the dental industry - ExciTE F and ExciTE F DSC (Dual cure Single Component).
The fluoride-releasing total etch adhesives can be selected by dentists depending on whether they have the curing light at their disposal, the company pointed out.
ExciTE F is used in clinical cases where the exposure to the light is ensured, for instance in direct restorative procedures.
However, if the cavity is not accessible with the facility or if chemically curing composites are used, ExciTE F DSC is recommended for use by the firm.
As well as being available in bottles and single-dose vessels, ExciTE F now comes in VivaPen delivery form, with the amount contained in one pen enough for around 120 applications.
Earlier this month, Ivoclar Vivadent announced that it has established a materials partnership with Nobel Biocare.
The organisations will work together to bring their aesthetic, restorative and prosthetic systems to dental practitioners and laboratory technicians.Other news stories from 20/01/2010
