| RPSGB launches pharmaceutical employee survey | Posted on 20/01/2010 in Pharmaceutical Government/ NHS related news The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) has launched a workforce survey for those employed in the industry, it has revealed.
In a bid to gain a better understanding of pharmaceutical technicians in the modern day, the RPSGB poll is designed to ascertain information such as the departments they contribute to and the number of hours they work.
It is being funded by the Department of Health and will ensure that the General Pharmaceutical Council is equipped with vital technician data.
The data will form the basis of information that can be used to monitor alterations in workforce patterns, emerging trends and inform future policy development for those in the industry.
Forms are in the process of being distributed to all technicians on the society's registers across England, Scotland and Wales.
Conclusions of the data will be published at the beginning of the summer.
In other RPSGB news, the organisation posted a reminder to its members earlier this week to vote in its board member elections.Other news stories from 20/01/2010
