| PharmaSmart 'went into administration in 2009' | Posted on 18/01/2010 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures PharmaSmart, the parent company of I-HS and SSC, has gone into administration.
According to accountant Hacker Young, which worked on the case, the organisation went into administration on December 3rd 2009.
The company owed the taxpayer a total of 309,461.91 pounds upon its closure.
Its remaining asset - Goodwill - was sold to Urbanflame on December 10th for 5,000 pounds.
Urbanflame was renamed Resources Services (UK) and has been launched through holding company McGinley Group Limited.
An announcement on the McGinley Group website stated: "Resourcing Services (UK) has recently backed the purchase of SSC and I-HS to strengthen [its] presence in the healthcare and pharmaceutical markets."
McGinley was founded in 1978 and rebranded its arm McGinley Recruitment to McGinley Support Services last year.
It also launched McGinley Care, which provides carers and social workers to private organisations and local authority services, during the same 12-month period.Other news stories from 18/01/2010
