Idexx launches Cornerstone Practice Management Software Version 8.0

Idexx this week launched the Cornerstone Practice Management Software Version 8.0 - a system that it states could make business easier for animal health professionals.
The product allows users to store and share information and enables the easier recording of all detailed medical notes.
It integrates details automatically into electronic medical records, meaning that professionals can retrieve accurate, comprehensive information more quickly and concisely.
Furthermore, practices in larger groups can create location-specific invoices, statements and prescription labels with the software.
Tyler Patterson, director of the cornerstone product line, commented: "Cornerstone 8.0 software provides the tools and features that deliver the efficiency and comprehensiveness that veterinarians require, while helping to establish and guide medical protocols across the practice."
In other Idexx news, the firm revealed that its customer base expanded significantly in 2009, as it distributed in excess of 2,000 Catalyst Dx chemistry analysers last year, bringing its installed base to nearly 2,800.
