Posted on 12/01/2010 in Medical Company Product News 3M has made its latest product available to professionals in the medical sector - its 3M MPro150 pocket projector.
Constituting part of the organisation's MPro portfolio of pico projectors, the product combines several applications into a compact device designed for busy professionals.
It features 1 GB of internal memory, a micro SD card slot and a USB input for transferring files from a laptop or netbook and is just over five inches long and 5.6 ounces in weight.
Additionally, the MPro150 supports Microsoft Office applications, Adobe PDF and allows users to project images up to 50 inches at 15 lumens brightness.
"With no need to pack a separate laptop or projector, [...] professionals can travel a bit lighter. It's great for use at home and on-the-go as well," commented Mark Colin, vice-president of 3M's mobile interactive solutions division.
This launch comes after 3M unveiled another product last month - its Mobile Dictation Software - which allows physicians with BlackBerry devices to access email, dictation and phone services while on the move.
