Sartorius wins 2 iF product design awards

Sartorius has been presented with two iF product design awards, it has announced.

In a statement, the scientific company explained that the arium pro laboratory water purification system and the Cubis premium laboratory balance both won over the panel of 24 experts in each of the 11 criteria categories.

The arium system is a device that is capable of producing ultra-pure water that can be used in laboratory analysis in a quick, safe and cost-effective fashion, such as in cell cultivation, chromatography and protein purification.

Meanwhile, the Cubis range of balances has a modular design that can be configured to work well with the altering requirements of different working environments.

Reinhard Vogt, member of the executive board for marketing, sales and service at the firm – which recently extended the appointment of its chief executive officer Dr Joachim Kreuzburg until 2015 – said: “High-quality products are not just characterised by top-quality components but also by intuitive, comfortable and secure operation.”
