Posted on 29/12/2009 in Scientific Agilent Technologies has signed a contract with Derby Associates International, which will see the former firm supply the latter organisation with its new Medalist i3070 and 3070 in-circuit tester-based quality tool, entitled Web-Push Button Quality (Web-PBQ).
Running on Agilent's in-circuit test platforms, Web-PBQ allows companies to address their test, data collection and quality management needs and is aimed at single-tester, single-user configurations, the company stated.
NK Chari, director of marketing for Agilent's measurement systems division, explained: "The ability to run Web-PBQ on our legacy Medalist 3070 and our latest i3070 Series 5 in-circuit testers offers electronic equipment suppliers and contract manufacturers best-in-class capabilities not found anywhere else."
Another announcement made by Agilent this month was the availability of its new 7000B Triple Quadrupole Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer.
According to the firm, the product provides femtogram-level sensitivity for the fast analysis of pesticides, pyrethroids and steroids in food, environmental, pharmaceutical and forensic matrices. Other news stories from 29/12/2009
