Posted on 23/12/2009 in Scientific Dionex has announced the availability of its FLD-3000 fluorescence detector series ? equipment that can be used alongside UltiMate 3000 HPLC systems.
It comes in both rapid separation (100 Hz) and standard (20 Hz) versions, with the optics of the FLD-3000 series providing maximum stray light suppression for heightened detection sensitivity, the firm claimed.
The technology it incorporates also allows for multiple stop-flow or continuous scans, zero-order emission operation, or multi-channel acquisition, it added.
Furthermore, the FLD-3000 detector series - which is operated with Chromeleon Chromatography Data System software - provides automated qualification, performance optimisation and instrument wellness monitoring.
In other Dionex product news, the firm launched its AFC-3000 Automated Fraction Collector in early December.
According to the organisation, the product is ideal for preparative reversed-phase or normal-phase HPLC, as well as purification of proteins, peptides and nucleic acids.Other news stories from 23/12/2009
