Posted on 21/12/2009 in Scientific The Binding Site has unveiled a new online facility that it jointly developed in collaboration with professor Jo Bradwell.
The scientific professional, who has had five books published in the last five years dealing with serum-free light chain analysis, worked with the firm to produce the Wikipedia-style resource Wikilite.com.
Professor Bradwell, along with colleagues at the Binding Site, will now work to keep the online hub updated and review published literature regularly.
This will incorporate studies on both Freelite serum-free light chain analysis and those using the new Hevylite heavy chain/light chain immunoglobulin analysis, the company revealed.
Concern for the environment appears to be a chief motivation for the Binding Site with regard to the establishment of this project, as it applauded Wikilite.com for being available "without the need to destroy a rainforest".
In September, The Binding Site announced the availability of the new immunoassay panel Hevylite ? a product designed for the analysis of immunoglobulin heavy chain/light chain pairs. Other news stories from 21/12/2009
