Posted on 17/12/2009 in Dental Supplier News Nobel Biocare has been given notification that international asset management firm BlockRock now holds a percentage of its registered share capital.
In a statement, the company - which states that it is the only provider of integrated full dental solutions - explained that BlackRock now has approximately 6.4 per cent of its registered share capital, as per December 1st 2009.
BlackRock explained that, on the aforementioned date, it acquired the Barclays Global Investors business. The combined holdings of BlackRock following the completion of the transaction meant that the disclosure was a requirement.
Forms submitted by BlackRock indicate that it holds 7,776,074 equity securities, giving it 6.28 per cent voting rights, as well as 225,743 CFDs, providing it with 0.18 per cent voting rights.
Therefore, the total shareholding stands at 8,001,817 shares and 6.46 per cent.
Last month, Domenico Scala, Nobel Biocare's chief executive, said that the company had a strong business model that was performing well, despite the current economic climate.Other news stories from 17/12/2009
