Posted on 15/12/2009 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Baxter has recruited the expertise of two new corporate officers on its board of directors, it has announced.
The pharmaceutical organisation revealed that Kay Ladone, who is currently its vice-president of investor relations, will serve on the company's board.
She has previously worked within the firm's business development and finance departments and joined Baxter in 1988.
Additionally, Stephanie Shinn, who presently holds the post of associate general counsel at the organisation, has been named corporate secretary and appointed to serve as a board officer.
She joined the company in 2005 and prior to this, worked as an associate for the business law firm Sidley Austin LLP.
Last month, Baxter received positive recommendations for its avian flu (H5N1) pandemic vaccine CELVAPAN for use in the European Union.
The Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use of the European Medicines Agency issued its verdict on the product ahead of the firm submitting its licence for the vaccine.Other news stories from 15/12/2009
