Posted on 11/12/2009 in Medical Company Product News Owen Mumford announced this week that it as won a contract with Sanofi-aventis, which will see the firm provide the pharmaceutical company with its Autopen 24 insulin pen product.
Spanning for a duration of three years, the contract will result in Owen Mumford, which is a major UK manufacturer of diabetes management devices, having the pens distributed by Sanofi-aventis to bases in more than 60 different countries.
Adam Mumford, sales and marketing director at the company, stated that this new agreement bears testament to the "ease of use and effectiveness" of the Autopen 24.
"Sanofi-aventis wants to provide maximum patient choice in the selection of the most appropriate insulin pen to suit individual needs and our partnership helps them achieve this goal," he explained.
Owen Mumford's diabetes management products fulfil the organisation's goals, which include helping to improve people's quality of life, working to reduce healthcare costs and encouraging patients to understand and accept the medication prescribed for them.
