Posted on 09/12/2009 in Scientific Dionex has introduced its latest product to the scientific instruments market - the AFC-3000 Automated Fraction Collector.
The product is a reliable and highly flexible fraction collector, according to the firm, which is ideal for preparative reversed-phase or normal-phase HPLC, as well as purification of proteins, peptides and nucleic acids.
It also manages analytical and semi-preparative to preparative flow rates, collecting fractions into a variety of commonly used sample formats.
These include 96-well plates for small volumes, to bottles for large volume fraction collection.
Additionally, the organisation points out, the AFC-3000 is resistant to solvents, buffers, acids and bases and can be equipped with an optional grounded drop former for safe operation using normal-phase eluents.
