Posted on 07/12/2009 in Scientific PerkinElmer has revealed a new portfolio of products that are designed to improve the effectiveness and speed of life sciences research.
Among these are 22 new AlphaScreen SureFire assays, which are intended to detect endogenous cellular kinases.
Additionally, 24 New AlphaLISA Immunoassay kits are part of the launch, as well as 18 GPCR ready-to-use frozen cell lines and seven NewLANCE Ultra TR-FRET assay products ? which brings the number of kinases that can be tested to more than 300, the firm stated.
Richard Eglen, president of bio-discovery at PerkinElmer, commented: "We are introducing several new tools to study cell pathways, including many novel cellular and biochemical assays, 3D live cell imaging and innovative data management software and a new ultra-sensitive luminescent plate reader."
