| Pan Advertising enjoys success at PMEAs | Posted on 07/12/2009 in Marketing Services Pan Advertising had a successful night at the recent Pharmaceutical Marketing Effectiveness Awards (PMEAs) in London.
The firm won the marketing campaign of the year award and was also highly commended for another of its initiatives in the same category.
Pan received the award for its Amias campaign for Takeda UK, while the Vesicare campaign for Astellas Pharma UK took second place and a high commendation.
Held at the Park Lane Hilton, the PMEAs attracted an audience of 600 people and was hosted by Andrew Marr, the BBC journalist and former editor of the Independent.
Mark Savage, managing director of the awards organiser PMGroup, made a welcome address.
"Congratulations to all our finalists tonight. You are all winners," he said.
"We could without doubt use the work represented here tonight to demonstrate the health benefit that our industry continues to provide for us all, be we consumers or patients."
During the ceremony, William Burns, chief executive of Roche Pharmaceuticals, received a lifetime achievement award after 40 years working in the pharmaceutical industry.
