Anachem has launched its latest products on to the scientific instruments market - the 4titude FRAMEstar 96 and 384 Well PCR (polymerase chain reaction) Plates.
The items include a novel two-component design that combines the benefits of a rigid skirt and deck and allows for reliable robotic handling.
It also features thin-walled wells which are constructed from virgin polypropylene for efficient heat transferring and low-binding capabilities for molecules such as proteins and nucleic acids.
The firm explained: "Warping, shrinking and thermal distortion are eliminated - meaning that well-spacing and position post PCR remains accurate, so that liquid handling devices can reliably add or remove the smallest sample."
In September, Anachem launched its Thermal Flexi-Seal Plate Sealer - a product that fits on to a desktop and boasts a small footprint design which allows for loading in either a portrait or landscape position.
