Posted on 02/12/2009 in Medical Company Financials Arthrocare, a supplier of products for the medical sector, has unveiled its financial results for the third quarter of 2009.
Total revenue for the quarter ended September 30th was declared to be $79.5 million (47.9 million pounds) - an increase of 7.7 per cent compared to the same period of last year.
Additionally, sales of the company's sports medicine and ear, nose and throat (ENT) products sales rose by 10.9 per cent and 9.1 per cent, compared to the correlating timeframe of 2008.
David Fitzgerald, president and chief executive officer of ArthroCare, commented: "We continue to focus on growing our core business in the sports medicine and ENT markets and believe that the results [...] show that we are making significant progress toward achieving that goal."
In October, ArthroCare revealed the appointment of its new chief executive officer and president David Fitzgerald.
