Entitled Transcending Boundaries: Succeeding in the New Health Dynamic, the new strategy will be based on the agency's recent work in exploring the uses of social media for the healthcare market.
The firm will aim to provide an "interconnected" approach by linking its proprietary healthcare consulting services with a specialist team of European experts.
Clare Lucker, head of healthcare at MS&L, described the strategy as a response to the "enormous challenges" facing pharmaceutical companies as a result of major changes in the communications and media industries.
She said that at least one in seven patients now uses the internet to find information about symptoms and illnesses before visiting their doctor.
"In this new landscape, many organisations are unsure how to push 'innovation with regulation' for success," Ms Lucker explained.
The agency has developed a new online tool to help clients identify potential business challenges and seek solutions.
MS&L London received the PRCA Award for Internal Communications earlier this month.
