Posted on 24/11/2009 in Marketing Services Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness has announced that Ned Russell is to become the agency's new managing director.
Mr Russell joined the firm as director of client service earlier this year and will take over from Jim Joseph, who has left the agency in search of new opportunities.
Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness, which is a division of the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group, won the first-ever Grand Clio Healthcare Award earlier this month.
President of Saatchi & Saatchi Healthcare Communications Sam Welch said he was "delighted" to welcome Mr Russell into his new position.
"He has played a significant role on the agency's executive team in building business and relationships with existing agency clients," Mr Welch added.
Mr Russell, who has also worked at agencies such as DDB and Wolf Group, claimed that Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness enjoys a "strategic vision that really distinguishes us in the marketplace".
The agency received the Grand Clio Healthcare Award in recognition of Silence Your Rooster, its campaign for the sanofi-aventis sleep drug Ambien CR.
