Posted on 23/11/2009 in Scientific Source BioScience, which was formerly known as Medical Solutions, has published an interim financial statement for the period covering July 1st 2009 to November 17th 2009.
An increase of ten per cent in the firm's revenues was registered during this timeframe, compared to the same time of 2008 - something it states is due to a growing demand for its healthcare services.
During the period, the firm established an extended agreement with Cervical Screening Wales to supply it with liquid-based cytology.
Additionally, it expanded its laboratory capabilities at University College London by introducing enhanced technology platforms for genotyping.
Dr Nick Ash, managing director of SourceBioScience, said: "Source BioScience has continued to build on the first half momentum and profitability, with our Healthcare and Pharma Biotech Services divisions performing particularly well."
Source BioScience announced the extension of its collaboration with Cervical Screening Wales in late July 2009 - a deal that is expected to generate revenue in the region of 900,000 pounds over its duration.
