Posted on 20/11/2009 in Veterinary Supplier News Pfizer Animal Health has pointed out to pet owners the benefits of using cerenia - its treatment designed to ease travel sickness in dogs - ahead of Christmas.
The firm highlights that many people will be hoping to take their families to relatives' homes to see them during the festive season.
However, for some, this could also bring the dilemma of whether or not to take their pets, as the journey may unsettle them.
"Pfizer Animal Health wants more families to find the peace and joy of a relationship with their dog, especially during this holiday season," explained Amy Trettien, doctor of veterinary medicine at the firm.
Last month, Pfizer Animal Health re-launched itself following its acquisition of Wyeth.
It stated that the incorporation of the firm now allows it to offer a wider range of products to the veterinary community, including swine, equine and poultry treatments.
