Posted on 19/11/2009 in Veterinary Supplier News Genitrix, supplier of veterinary products, has announced the availability of its latest product, Dormilan, which is designed to provide the speedy sedation and analgesia of both cats and dogs.
It can be used by veterinary professionals in order to achieve the restraint of animals during clinical examinations and for pre-medication before the administering of general anaesthetic.
Dormilan was developed using the alpha-2 agonist medetomidine hydrochloride.
"We're now looking to add to the support we provide to vet practices by offering a range of highly cost effective tried and trusted practice standards - products designed for everyday use in practices," explained Rob Watkins, marketing director of Genitrix.
He added that Dormilan is the first of these products it plans to launch in the future.
This announcement comes after Genitrix re-designed the packaging of its Dentagen chews in a bid to offer its customers greater convenience and packs that are designed to last for a whole month.
