Posted on 18/11/2009 in Scientific Eppendorf, provider of instruments to the scientific sector, has announced the recipients of a gift it offered as past of a prize draw.
Calum King, who is currently based at King's College London, was the winner of a draw organised by the firm, which offered its clients the chance to win two Airkix Flight Experience tickets.
The Airkix Flight Experience is an indoor course that simulates the experience of skydiving and can be performed alongside others.
Entitled the Raise the Limits Prize Draw, the firm's initiative was launched to mark the introduction of its Research Plus pipettes collection, which is designed to meet laboratories' high standards and promote precision and accuracy.
"I was very surprised to learn I had won the Airkix tickets," explained Mr King. "Although, I expect my daughter and son-in-law will enjoy the indoor sky-diving experience more than I would - thank you Eppendorf."
Early last month, Eppendorf launched its BioPhotometer Plus and stated that those who place an order by December 31st 2009 will receive a free Research Plus Pipette and UVettes.
