Posted on 17/11/2009 in Dental Supplier News Astra Tech has launched its latest product to the dental supply market - its shaded zirconia abutments.
Milled from a solid shaded zirconia blank, the abutments are designed for the best results when it comes to colour consistency throughout the final component.
The product is one of just a few all-zirconia engineered examples of its kind on the dental market, claims Astra Tech.
Additionally, they are durable and provide an "unmatched strength", it adds, offering biocompatibility and compatibility with "most interfaces".
The shaded colour is within the lighter range of hues that are available on the Vita shade guide, the organisation advises.
In other news last month, Astra Tech announced that it has entered into a partnership with Dental Wings, which will take effect in early 2010.
As part of the cooperation between the two firms, global users of Dental Wings will have the ability to remotely transfer scans to Astra Tech's design and manufacturing centres.
