| SSL International unveils latest financial results | Posted on 16/11/2009 in Pharmacy Supplier News SSL International has posted its financial results for the six months to September 30th, revealing sales of £387 million (322 million pounds) for the period.
This marks a 20 per cent improvement on the same time of last year, the firm stated, with underlying sales in its branded consumer categories also exceeding £321 million - an increase of more than three per cent compared to the same time in 2008.
The latter change is mainly due to improved sales across its Durex and Scholl ranges, it commented.
Garry Watts, chief executive of SSL International, commented: "The balance sheet remains strong and we continue to be confident of achieving our 50 per cent EPS growth target over the three years to March 2012."
Earlier this year, SSL International said that it was pleased with the start it had made to 2009, revealing that despite the recession, trading in the first quarter of was in line with the expectations of the firm's board of directors.
