Posted on 12/11/2009 in Pharmacy Supplier News Sara Lee, the owner of various pharmaceutical brands, has appointed a new chief information officer, it has revealed.
Anne Teague will assume the role immediately and will bring her expertise and experience in leadership to the position. She first joined Sara Lee in 2006 after leaving Heinz, with which she was a senor project consultant for five years.
Her duties will include furthering the progress of the firm's information technology operations.
Ms Teague will report to Mark Garvey, senior vice-president of finance and IT at the company.
"We are delighted that Anne will lead our IT organisation. Throughout her time with Sara Lee, Anne's leadership and technical expertise have been an asset to our organisation," Mr Garvey commented.
Some of the brands that are owned by Sara Lee include Sanex, Amb Pur, Douwe Egberts, Kiwi and Senseo.
Meanwhile, in September the company published its annual sustainability report, which is entitled Sara Lee Now... For the Future.
