| Virgo Health PR hires new creative director | Posted on 12/11/2009 in Marketing Services Virgo Health PR has announced that Rebecca Rhodes is joining the agency as a creative director.
The former Cohn & Wolfe consumer director will take up a newly-created position at Virgo Health as the company strengthens the consumer healthcare side of its business, PR Week reports.
Ms Rhodes will report to joint chief executive Angie Wiles and is set to focus on expanding the agency's client base in the health and wellbeing sector.
"I have never worked directly in healthcare, but I think health and wellbeing is a real growth area," she told the news provider.
"Healthcare is a highly-regulated sector and I think my consumer background will help bring fresh ideas."
As well as spending two years at Cohn & Wolfe, Ms Rhodes previously worked at Hill & Knowlton, where she was involved in the launch of the agency's consumer offshoot PiranhaKid.
Virgo Health's existing client base includes AstraZeneca, GlaxoSmithKline, Danone and Johnson & Johnson.
