Posted on 11/11/2009 in Scientific Agilent has increased its offering of scientific products with the introduction of a new solution that is compatible with its Infiniium 90000A Series oscilloscopes.
The new enhanced High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) test solution aims to increase efficiency, reduce development costs and provide highly accurate test results.
Additionally, the platform allows for glitch-free variation of timing parameters without the blocking of expensive test resources, as these trials can be performed independent of a signal generator.
As well as the oscilloscopes, it is also compatible with the N5998A protocol/audio/video generator and analyser.
Thomas Dippon, high-definition multimedia interface programme manager at Agilent, stated that the firm is "constantly abreast of the standards and compliance issues facing our industry".
Another product Agilent has launched within the last month is its signal integrity channel stimulator, which allows manufacturers of technological products to explore and arrive at an optimal design faster.
