Posted on 03/11/2009 in Scientific PerkinElmer has offered congratulations to its technical partner Brawn GP on its success at the 2009 FIA Formula One Constructors' and Drivers' World Championships.
The firm stated that it is "proud" to work alongside the team as its supplier of instrumentation to enhance its vehicles' reliability and performance in the races.
Among the products PerkinElmer provided were those designed to improve troubleshooting analysis, including the evaluation of debris in engine and gearbox lubricants and detection of degradation of worn seals.
"We are proud to be a technical partner to Brawn GP and help to ensure the integrity of the team's cars and the safety of their drivers," said Andy Attwood, vice-president and general manager of analytical sciences and laboratory services in Europe at PerkinElmer.
Last month, PerkinElmer launched its new EnSpire multi-label plate reader on to the scientific equipment market - a product that boasts ultra sensitive luminescence detection, providing researchers with enhanced capabilities to improve assay performance and sensitivity.
