Posted on 02/11/2009 in Scientific Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics has launched its latest piece of equipment - the Sysmex CS-2000i system - which is designed for the reduction of laboratory errors.
Helping researchers manage unsuitable samples, the Sysmex CS-2000i is the first instrument in a new generation of coagulation systems from Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics.
Using multi-wavelength scanning and sample liquid-sensing technologies to detect unsuitable specimens, the system minimises pre-analytical mistakes and helps researchers to deliver the highest quality results on their first test run.
The equipment features a refrigerated reagent table, which allows for long on-board stability and reduces the need to remove and place reagents each day.
It also helps to reduce waste of reagents with its positive barcode identification abilities.
Further products to be released by Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics within the last month include its three new clinical laboratory automation solutions, the ADVIA Centaur XP Immunoassay System, the StreamLAB Analytical Workcell and a decapper module.
