Posted on 30/10/2009 in Medical Company Product News Cardinal Health has announced that it has been chosen by Novation to provide the organisation with surgical gloves.
The three-year, multi-source surgical glove supply agreement will be inaugurated on January 1st 2010 and will see Cardinal Health provide supplies to 25,000 members and affiliates of the Vermont Holstein-Friesian Association, the University HealthSystem Consortium and more than 15,000 Provista members.
Tom Kapfer, president of the medical supply chain businesses for Cardinal Health, said: "Our innovative gloving solutions offer Novation?s members the ultimate combination of protection and comfort for a wide variety of different surgical procedures and personal preferences."
This development comes after the firm secured another contract with Novation to supply the firm with laboratory products until 2014.
In other Cardinal Health news, the firm announced the appointment of a new executive vice-president of strategy and corporate development earlier this month.
Mark Blake took up his position on October 19th and is now responsible for company-wide strategic planning and business development.
