Posted on 29/10/2009 in Scientific Verderflex has revealed that one of its pumps from the Dura Range has been integral in aiding one firm to maximise its operations.
The Dura 15 model helped Peterson Packaging to solve problems it was experiencing with its existing air diaphragm pumps, by presenting itself as a cost-effective model that takes up minimal floor space.
According to Verderflex, the Dura product "is possibly the most advanced peristaltic hose pump available" and its unique design allows for a 70 per cent smaller footprint compared to similar models.
Peterson Packaging, it added, found this to suit their needs perfectly, as it required five pumps to fit in a limited space at the end of each line.
Other advantages of the equipment highlighted by Verderflex include its ability to run dry without sustaining damage, reduced downtime and its quieter and more efficient system when compared to conventional pumps.
Verderflex, which was formerly known as Autoclude, provides pumps and pumping systems, mixers, milling and sieving equipment, storage, classifying, granulating, odour reduction equipment and industrial tooling.
