Posted on 27/10/2009 in Scientific Zinsser Analytic has unveiled a new piece of equipment that it capable of detecting the presence of toxins in a wide range of liquids.
The product, named LISSY, can help to detect substances such as acids, bases, organic solvents, solvents such as oil and petrol or polymeric substances such as tar and sap.
Working to evaluate the impact this may have upon a variety of surface coatings, the machine can also consider these factors from temperatures of -20 degrees C to 200 degrees C.
Additionally, the system is automated, so time-consuming manual work is taken out of the equation.
Furthermore, LISSY is available in various standard configurations, from 90 cm up to 200 cm in length and is designed to work with various tubes, vials and microtitre plates.
Another product released by Zinsser Analytic of late is Callli-L, a piece of equipment designed for the easier sampling of valuable material from compound libraries.
