Posted on 27/10/2009 in Marketing Services Reynolds-Mackenzie has been named the best agency in the Healthcare Ethical & OTC Consumer category at the PRWeek Awards.
The London-based firm received the accolade for its work with pharmaceutical firm Celgene to raise interest of multiple myeloma, a form of cancer that affects plasma cells in bone marrow.
PRWeek reported that Reynolds-Mackenzie had "lived up to the hype" by claiming the award, as the agency was included in the publication's Top 150 Ones to Watch for 2009.
Reynolds-Mackenzie was also highly commended in the Specialist Consultancy of the Year category, which was won by M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment.
The firm is no stranger to awards, having also received a gong for Healthcare Campaign of the Year from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2008.
Other winners at this year's PRWeek Awards included Diffusion PR, which was named New Consultancy of the Year, while the British Heart Foundation took the Digital Innovation award for its Food 4 Thought campaign.
