Posted on 27/10/2009 in Pharmaceutical Company Restructures Norgine has appointed a new global market access manager within its global marketing department, it has revealed.
In a bid to strengthen its capabilities in the area, the firm has unveiled Lance Richard, a professional who started his career in the sector as a clinical pharmacist in South Africa, as its latest recruit.
Previous posts he has held include the senior health economist of global health outcomes research at UCB Celltech and director of market access at GfK Healthcare.
In his new role, Mr Richard will be responsible for the support of pricing, reimbursement and market access of Norgine's brands, as well as controlling brand value across all of the firm's ranges.

The contract involves a licensing agreement that gives Norgine the exclusive rights to develop, manufacture and commercialise prescription immediate-release Zegerid products.
